I often struggle with fearfulness and worry and because of this struggle I had a hard time committing to go with the team to Pakistan. I finally surrendered and entrusted my life into God’s hands – which is where it should be all the time. I have complete relief in letting Him be in complete charge of my life.
A few times I have been tempted to worry – especially when we were heading straight towards possible head on crashes with other vehicles on Pakistan roads – but then I remember Matthew 6:25 that says, “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life,” and that He will take care of me whether I live or die. And I am so thankful that He is challenging me in different ways so that I will no longer struggle with fear or worry as I have faith in His plans.
God is so awesome in His provision to me as an individual and to the team I am on the trip with.
