As we last reported, SWI's school was heavily damaged from the rains, both inside and out.  But due to the support of our friends and ministry partners, we are pleased to report that repairs to our school have been completed.

Flooring, walls and outside roads have all been fixed, enabling classes to resume for over 270 Christian, Muslim, and Hindu students.

UPDATE--

The situation in Pakistan continues to be dire.  We have had a small team distributing aid and assistance to displaced flood victims.  In one instance, the team was attacked and chased by a desperate and angry mob.

The needs are still massive and there is a real risk of a second catastrophic wave to hit the country in the form of illness and disease from unsanitary conditions.

We have an opportunity to make a significant impact, but not without your prayers, support and assistance.  Consider financially supporting our efforts and most of all, please pray for Pakistan as well as our staff and ministry partners.

UPDATE--

We have received word from our workers that the situation in Pakistan continues to deteriorate as additional rain has fallen in the past few days.  Please consider helping SWI at this critical time to help repair our school and assist displaced flood victims around the country.  Most importantly, please pray as more rain is expected in the coming days.

URGENT--

Monsoon Rains and Flooding in Pakistan Damage SWI's School

Massive flooding in Pakistan has now claimed over 1,000 lives, mostly  in the northwest region of the country.

While much of the devastation has been isolated in the northwest area, other places have been affected as well.  This includes the region where SWI's school is located.  Heavy rains have damaged the school, including the flooring and walls.  In one section, the floor to a classroom has collapsed over two feet.

With a new school year fast approaching, the building is in need of immediate repairs as to not disrupt the education of over 270 Christian, Muslim, and Hindu students.

We are in urgent need of your prayers and financial support.  Please pray for the nation of Pakistan, our school, its staff members, students, their families, and all of those who have been affected.  More rain is on the way and many more people will be displaced by the relentless rain and flooding.

If you would like to the assist us in repairing the school, please use the link below or you can visit our support page.  An existing PayPal account is not required to send funds through our donation link.

Thank you in advance for your support and helping us touch the nation of Pakistan.
