SWI Continues to Minister to Persecuted Christians

Strategic World Impact continues to reach out and minister to the persecuted Christians in Pakistan during this time when tensions are heightening throughout the country. Daily news reports tell of repeated bombings that are leaving hundreds of innocent people dead because of the ideals of Islamic extremists.
Some of the latest attacks have been on schools causing the Pakistani Government to order all schools to comply with specific rules. These include hiring a guard that will be in place during all school hours. Additionally, entrance gates must be strengthened to make sure a vehicle cannot ram through it and gain access. Additionally, the government is also requiring a wall of protection that is ten feet high completely around the schools.
SWI has complied with all of these specifications in order to further secure our school and the safety of the children and staff who attend.
Additionally, we continue our work out in the villages of Gojra and Korian that were burned down in August by the Muslim mobs.
Some of our recent events include our country director arranging for a showing of the Jesus Film in one of the villages. He reported that a thousand people were in attendance watching and he was on the phone with one of our US employees, who could hear the crowd cheering and clapping. When our employee asked what point of the movie that was, she was told it was when Christ rose from the tomb! P raise the Lord!
Additionally, we continue to send many supplies out to the villages to assist them during this difficult time. Recently we were blessed to distribute many pairs of rugged shoes to those who had suffered from the attacks of the Muslims.
And thanks to the SWI Hat Brigade, we now have 430 hats over in Pakistan! Just in time for the onset of their winter season. 260 of these hats will be given to help keep the children of our school warm. The remainder of them will go out to the burned villages. (For those of you assisting with that project, know that we're still collecting them!)

But the reality is, there are no words that can fully express the impact of your involvement in what we do. For those of you who have already joined us in the work, in one way or another, we want thank you; we believe you will know the fullness of this partnership one day.
