JUNE 17 - 22, 2012
CALGARY, ALBERTA CANADA

Strategic World Impact has confirmed its location for the 2012 DART (Disaster Assistance Response Training) Conference, with tentative dates of June 17th - June 23rd.  The SWI DART Conference offers a one-of-a-kind experience with training to equip anyone who is seeking to assist in natural disasters or serve in areas of war, persecution, and oppression. It is designed to help train missionaries, relief workers, churches, NGOs, military members, and anyone else with a heart for the lost and hurting.

This event is nondenominational and is not exclusive to any particular group or individuals.

In addition to the training, it is also a tremendous blessing to all who attend. The fellowship, training, and time of worship are unlike anything you will ever experience.

 This year's DART Conference courses will include:

* Personal Mission and Protection
* Cybersecurity and Communications Risk Assessment
* Disaster Assessment
* Survival in the Field
* Humanitarian Assessment
* Trauma Counseling
* Ministry Behind the Veil
* Refugee Assessment
* Understanding Animism
* Anti-Terrorism and Hostage Survival
* Water Filtration and Purification
* Cross Cultural Communication
* Land Mine Awareness Training
* Ministering to Children
* Disaster Medic Training
* Mission Preparedness and Planning
* Photojournalism on the Mission Field
* Infectious Diseases
* Bible Storying
* UN and Peacekeeping Roles

The conference includes approximately 10 hours of outdoor classes and hands-on training in our one-of-a-kind "refugee camp."  This gives each attendee the opportunity to apply many of the skills learned, while also experiencing a day in the life of a refugee.

A binder with complete presentation notes is provided to all conference attendees.

More details, including registration and lodging costs will be posted soon.  Please be sure to watch our website for future updates.

*The DART conference is a ministry training seminar and not a fundraising event.
